If you obey the speed limit, you will get a better score. The app also tracks phone use while driving based on movement and screen activation, and not using your phone while driving decreases distracted driving, improving your score.

Within the first month of using the app, drivers reduce phone distraction by an average of 30%. Hard braking decreases by 20%, with a 20% reduction in at-risk speeding.

The app features include your trip scores that show a list of recent trips and the score for each one. An optional feature lets you see your family members’ scores and view their latest location.

There are leaderboards to show how you rank against peers for phone distractions and speeding. You can monitor how you are trending, compare your best scores with others, and get cash rewards for achieving high scores and digital badges as milestones for safer driving.
